Step preview

  1. Flour two baking trays
  2. Fit the Dough Tool
  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Let rest – 5 minutes
  5. Then add the next ingredients
  6. Knead – 2 minutes, speed 1
  7. Knead – 4 minutes, speed 2
  8. Cover the bowl with kitchen towel
  9. Prove – 1 hour
  10. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface
  11. Divide the dough into 100 g pieces and cover them with a damp tea towel
  12. Let rest – 10 minutes
  13. Take one piece of dough and place it under the palm of your hand
  14. Gently apply pressure and rotate the dough to make a roll shape
  15. Place the shaped dough on the prepared baking trays
  16. Repeat the actions with the remaining dough
  17. Cover the baking trays with tea towels
  18. Prove – 1 hour
  19. Preheat an oven - 220ºC
  20. Brush the dough balls with beaten egg
  21. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  22. Place a small ovenproof container filled with hot water in the bottom of the oven
  23. Bake – 20 minutes, 200ºC
  24. Remove the buns from the oven and let cool
  25. Serve
