A quick delicious cake, great in the afternoon with a hot drink. We've used freshly whipped cream, strawberries and strawberry coulis to fill the sponge, but you could use jam, lemon curd or buttercream. Appliance: MultiPro OneTouch

Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 175ºC
  2. Grease the tins
  3. Fit the Knife Blade
  4. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  5. Select the Mix preset
  6. Divide the batter between the cake tins
  7. Bake – 20 minutes, 175ºC
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool
  9. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Whisk Tool
  10. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  11. Whisk - 1 minute, medium speed
  12. Place one sponge cake on a serving plate
  13. Spread with the cream and top with the next ingredients
  14. Place the other sponge on top
  15. Dust with icing sugar
  16. Serve
