Fluffy, light on the inside and crispy on the outside, these bite sized doughnuts are perfect for sharing at your next gathering. They are flavoured with cinnamon and honey for a slight sweetness. We've finished ours with chopped pistachios, but you can swap for another nut or simply serve with honey.

Step preview
- Fit the Dough Tool
- Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
- Let rest - 5 minutes
- Then add the next ingredients
- Knead until a dough has formed - 10 minutes, speed 1
- Remove the Dough Tool and fit the splashguard
- Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour 15 minutes, 30ºC, speed off
- Line a baking tray with paper towels
- Add oil into a large, heavy-based saucepan until half full
- Heat until the oil reaches 170ºC – high heat
- Oil your hands and a large spoon
- Place a small portion of dough into your hand
- Squeeze the dough between your forefinger and thumb to create a ball
- Use a spoon to transfer the dough into the saucepan
- Fry in batches of 3 until deep golden brown - 4-5 minutes, high heat
- Remove the doughnuts using a slotted spoon and place them on the lined baking tray
- Repeat the same process with the remaining dough
- Place the doughnuts into a serving bowl
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with pistachios
- Serve
