A buttery, soft brioche loaf packed with little chocolate chips. A treat for children and adults alike! Eat it as it is or use it to make other recipes like bread-and-butter pudding or French toast.

- Fit the Dough Tool
- Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
- Knead until combined - 2 minutes, speed 2
- Then add butter
- Knead until a dough has formed - 5 minutes, speed Min
- Then add chocolate chips
- Knead until combined - 30 seconds, speed Min
- Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel
- Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour 30 minutes
- Grease a loaf tin
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured work surface
- Gently pull the edges into the centre to form a ball
- Then shape the dough into a log and divide into 8 equal pieces
- Let rest – 10 minutes
- Take one piece of dough and shape into a ball
- Repeat this action with the rest of the dough pieces
- Place the dough balls in two rows of 4 into the loaf tin
- Cover with a kitchen towel and prove until doubled in size - 1 hour
- Preheat the oven - 180ºC
- Brush the dough with beaten egg
- Bake until golden brown - 30 minutes, 180ºC
- Serve
