Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 190ºC
  2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Fit the Knife blade to the Food Processor attachment
  4. Add the ingredients into the attachment
  5. Blend until finely ground - 1 minute, speed Max
  6. Then add eggs
  7. Blend until combined - 20 seconds, speed 3
  8. Remove the attachment from the machine
  9. Fit the K-Beater
  10. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  11. Heat until completely melted - 5 minutes, 70°C, speed Stir 1
  12. Then add the almond mixture
  13. Mix until combined - 2 minutes, speed 2
  14. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface
  15. Roll the dough into a ball and divide into 6 equal pieces
  16. Take one piece of dough and cover the rest of the dough with a tea towel
  17. Roll the dough into a smooth ball
  18. Make a hole in the centre of the ball, using a floured wooden spoon or finger
  19. Gently stretch the dough to make the hole in the centre wider to create a ring
  20. Place the shaped dough on the prepared baking tray
  21. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough pieces
  22. Spray or brush the bagels with oil lightly
  23. Sprinkle seeds over the bagels and lightly press in
  24. Bake until golden brown - 15 minutes, 190ºC
  25. Serve
