These pancakes are delicious on Christmas morning. Serve with maple syrup and fresh fruit or for a more indulgent breakfast have with one of our flavoured Chantilly creams.

Step preview

  1. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  2. Add ground ginger, ground cinnamon, plain flour, golden caster sugar and baking powder to the kCook bowl

  5. Stir with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 5
  6. Then add egg, maple syrup and milk to the batter
  7. Stir with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 6
  8. Add unsalted butter to a clean frying pan
  9. Heat in frying pan
  10. Ladle batter into frying pan bit by bit
  11. Cook each side in frying pan until light golden
  12. Serve
