Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  2. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
  3. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add salted butter and granulated sugar to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 6
  8. Scrape
  9. Add vanilla extract to the dough
  10. Mix with filler cap removed and continue - 1 min, speed 6
  11. Add egg yolk to the dough while machine is running
  12. Scrape
  13. Add plain flour to the dough
  14. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 4
  15. Scrape
  16. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 4
  17. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  18. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  19. Cut into rounds
  20. Bake until light golden - 10 min, 190°C
  21. Let cool on round wire rack
  22. Add icing sugar and water to a clean medium bowl
  23. Mix until well combined
  24. Divide the icing and use food colouring to make white, red, blue and black
  25. Use the white icing to cover the biscuit
  26. Use red icing to pipe blood vessels
  27. Use blue to pipe the iris and black for the pupil of the eye
  28. Serve
