Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add milk and dried yeast to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Heat with filler cap fitted - 2 min, 30°C, speed 5
  6. Then add bread flour, orange and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  8. Then add unsalted butter, egg yolk, rum, orange blossom water and salt to the kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  10. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 10
  11. Remove midi blade from kCook bowl
  12. Heat with filler cap fitted - 2 hr, 30°C
  13. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  14. Transfer content of kCook bowl to lightly floured surface
  15. Knead
  16. Roll into a log
  17. Shape into a circle
  18. Cover with kitchen towel
  19. Prove - approx 30 min
  20. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  21. Brush with egg
  22. Decorate with candied citrus peel, cherries candied and pearl sugar
  23. Bake until golden brown - 25 min, 160°C
  24. Let cool onto cooling rack
  25. Add double cream to the kCook bowl
  26. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  27. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  28. Whisk with filler cap fitted - 1 min 30 sec, speed 7
  29. Transfer content of kCook bowl to piping bag then set aside
  30. Cut into halves
  31. Pipe with piping bag
  32. Assemble
  33. Serve
