This stew is tasty by itself but you could add mash on top for an indulgent cottage pie. The chocolate gives the sauce more depth and colour.

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi

  8. Then add venison to the kCook bowl

  11. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  12. Slice carrot and onion into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  14. Cook with filler cap removed - 2 min, 120°C, speed 3
  15. Then add cumin seeds, ground coriander, chilli powder, cinnamon stick and fresh chilli to the kCook bowl
  16. Cook with filler cap removed - 1 min, 120°C, speed 3
  17. Then add red wine, beef stock, tinned chopped tomatoes, fresh thyme and bay leaves to the kCook bowl
  18. Cook with filler cap removed - 2 hr 30 min, 94°C, speed 1
  19. Add cornflour and water to a clean small bowl
  20. Stir with teaspoon
  21. Transfer content of small bowl to kCook bowl
  22. Add dark chocolate to the kCook bowl
  23. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 98°C, speed 3
  24. Serve
