Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  2. Fit slow cook plug to kCook bowl
  3. Add water and granulated sugar to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  6. Heat carefully with filler cap removed until golden brown and let cool - 170°C
  7. Pour content of kCook bowl into round pan immediately then set aside
  8. Clean kCook bowl
  9. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  10. Add milk, double cream, cinnamon stick and dark chocolate to the kCook bowl
  11. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  12. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  13. Heat with filler cap removed - 70°C, speed 5
  14. Strain content of kCook bowl into jug
  15. Clean kCook bowl
  16. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  17. Add granulated sugar, egg yolk, egg, vanilla extract and salt to the kCook bowl
  18. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  19. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  20. Mix with filler cap fitted - 4 min, speed 7
  21. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min 30 sec, speed 5
  22. Pour content of jug into kCook bowl while machine is running
  23. Pour content of kCook bowl into flan
  24. Transfer flan to baking pan
  25. Add water to the baking pan
  26. Bake - approx 35 min, 150°C
  27. Let cool - 30 min
  28. Chill in fridge
  29. Turn out
  30. Serve
