Step preview

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  4. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  5. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  6. Add plain flour, egg, baking powder, milk, salt and black pepper to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  10. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 10
  11. Then add sliced ham to the dough
  12. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  13. Grate cheddar cheese into the dough with direct prep attachment
  14. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  15. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 7
  16. Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface
  17. Knead lightly
  18. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  19. Cut into strips
  20. Twist
  21. Transfer content of lightly floured surface to baking sheet
  22. Brush with egg yolk
  23. Bake - 15 min, 200°C
  24. Let cool
  25. Serve
