Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add water and dried yeast to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Heat with filler cap fitted - 2 min, 30°C, speed 5
  6. Then add bread flour, salt, caster sugar and lard to the dough
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  8. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 10
  9. Remove midi blade from kCook bowl
  10. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 hr, 30°C
  11. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  12. Reserve then set aside
  13. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  14. Scatter salami and pecorino cheese over the dough
  15. Roll into a log
  16. Grease a clean tube pan
  17. Transfer dough to tube pan
  18. Cover with kitchen towel
  19. Prove - 1 hr
  20. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  21. Place egg on the tube pan
  22. Decorate
  23. Brush with egg
  24. Bake - 50 min, 180°C
  25. Let cool
  26. Serve
