Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Add beef filet and plain flour to a clean large glass bowl
  4. Mix with tablespoon until coated then set aside
  5. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  6. Add sunflower oil to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  9. Heat with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
  10. Transfer beef to kCook bowl
  11. Cook with filler cap removed - 2 min, 140°C, speed 4
  12. Cook with filler cap removed - 3 min, 140°C, speed 3
  13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  14. Slice onion into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  15. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  16. Add stout, button mushroom, chicken stock and tomato purée to the kCook bowl
  17. Cook with filler cap removed - 4 hr, 98°C, speed 1
  18. Transfer content of kCook bowl to ceramic baking dish then set aside
  19. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  20. Add puff pastry to a clean lightly floured surface
  21. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  22. Brush
  23. Transfer pastry to ceramic baking dish
  24. Cover and press down
  25. Brush with egg
  26. Cut an indentation
  27. Bake until golden brown - 10 min, 180°C
  28. Serve
