Step preview

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add plain flour, sea salt and salted butter to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  7. Grate cheddar cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  9. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  10. Blend with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 10
  11. Then add egg yolk and water to the kCook bowl
  12. Blend with filler cap fitted - 40 sec, speed 12
  13. Transfer content of kCook bowl to work surface
  14. Form into a ball
  15. Wrap with plastic wrap
  16. Chill in fridge and continue - 1 hr
  17. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  18. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
  19. Add pumpkin and olive oil to a clean large mixing bowl
  20. Season
  21. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  22. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  23. Slice leek into the large mixing bowl with direct prep attachment
  24. Mix until coated
  25. Transfer content of large mixing bowl to baking sheet
  26. Bake - 20 min, 180°C
  27. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper then set aside
  28. Transfer pastry to lightly floured surface
  29. Divide into 4 equal pieces
  30. Roll out into a circle until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  31. Transfer pastry to baking sheet
  32. Divide roasted vegetables between pastry
  33. Add fresh sage to a clean cutting board
  34. Brush with olive oil lightly
  35. Transfer herbs to pastry
  36. Add soft goat cheese to the pastry
  37. Fold
  38. Bake - 20 min, 180°C
  39. Serve
