Step preview

  1. Add milk and unsalted butter to a clean saucepan
  2. Heat - medium-high heat
  3. Add dried yeast and caster sugar to the saucepan
  4. Stir until dissolved - medium-high heat
  5. Attach Dough Hook
  6. Add bread flour and egg to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Transfer content of saucepan to Kenwood Bowl
  8. Knead - 10 min, Speed 1
  9. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise - 30 min
  10. Add salt and water to the Kenwood Bowl
  11. Knead - 10 min, Speed 1
  12. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise - 30 min
  13. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  14. Roll into balls
  15. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet
  16. Brush with butter
  17. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise - 30 min
  18. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  19. Bake until golden brown - 25 min, 190°C
  20. Remove
  21. Add blue cheese to the baking sheet then set aside
  22. Add butter to a clean saucepan
  23. Heat until completely melted - medium-high heat
  24. Add garlic clove and fresh sage to the saucepan
  25. Fry until lightly browned
  26. Pour content of saucepan into baking sheet carefully
  27. Sprinkle with salt
  28. Serve immediately
