Step preview

  1. Add bread slices and whole milk to a clean medium bowl
  2. Soak - 10 min
  3. Drain content of medium bowl into sieve
  4. Squeeze and remove excess liquid
  5. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  6. Add walnuts, parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic clove and extra virgin olive oil to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Transfer bread to kCook bowl
  9. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  10. Blend with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  11. Transfer content of kCook bowl to medium bowl then set aside
  12. Clean kCook bowl
  13. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  14. Add water to the kCook bowl
  15. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  16. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  17. Heat with filler cap removed - 104°C, speed 1
  18. Then add wholewheat pasta and salt to the kCook bowl
  19. Cook with filler cap removed and continue - 10 min, 98°C, speed 3
  20. Line a clean plate with paper towels then set aside
  21. Add butter to a clean frying pan
  22. Heat until melted - medium heat
  23. Add speck to the frying pan
  24. Cook in frying pan until browned
  25. Transfer content of frying pan to plate then set aside
  26. Drain content of kCook bowl into colander
  27. Transfer pasta to large serving bowl
  28. Transfer Pesto to large serving bowl
  29. Stir until combined
  30. Add bacon to large serving bowl
  31. Serve
