A classic appetiser from Sicily. This octopus and potato salad is really good, ingredients that combine very well with each other. You can buy prepared octopus, but if buying fresh, carefully clean, removing teeth and eyes and washing it well several times. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Fit slow cook plug to kCook bowl
  2. Add water and bay leaves to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  5. Heat with filler cap removed - 104°C
  6. Then add octopus to the kCook bowl
  7. Add potato to the steamer tray to top shelf
  8. Steam - 25 min, 104°C
  9. Transfer potatoes to large serving bowl
  10. Drain content of kCook bowl into colander
  11. Transfer content of colander to large serving bowl
  12. Add fresh parsley, salt, extra virgin olive oil and lemon to the large serving bowl
  13. Stir until combined
  14. Serve
