These sweets are made with a type of pastry which is then filled with walnut and mascarpone cream. They can be eaten immediately but they are better after a few hours in the fridge covered with foil. Step preview

  1. Add water and bicarbonate of soda to a clean small bowl
  2. Mix until combined and let cool
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add walnuts to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Blend with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 12
  8. Transfer content of kCook bowl to medium bowl then set aside
  9. Clean kCook bowl
  10. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  11. Add italian 00 flour, caster sugar, egg yolk and butter to the kCook bowl
  12. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  13. Transfer content of small bowl to kCook bowl
  14. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  15. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 6
  16. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 10
  17. Transfer content of kCook bowl to cutting board
  18. Roll into balls until 1cm round
  19. Bake until golden brown - 2 min
  20. Let cool
  21. Clean kCook bowl
  22. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  23. Add egg yolk and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  24. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  25. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  26. Whisk with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  27. Then add mascarpone cheese to the kCook bowl
  28. Transfer nuts to kCook bowl
  29. Whisk with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 9
  30. Transfer content of kCook bowl to piping bag
  31. Pipe cream onto biscuits
  32. Dust with icing sugar
  33. Serve
