Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add italian 00 flour, fine semolina flour, butter, egg and salt to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 15 sec, speed 7
  8. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 10
  9. Line a clean work surface with plastic wrap
  10. Transfer pastry to work surface
  11. Form into a ball
  12. Wrap with plastic wrap
  13. Chill in fridge - 20 min
  14. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  15. Clean kCook bowl
  16. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  17. Add olive oil, onion and salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
  18. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  19. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  20. Slice courgette into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  21. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  22. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  23. Cook with filler cap removed - 10 min, 110°C, speed 3
  24. Transfer pastry to lightly floured surface
  25. Roll out into a circle until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  26. Transfer pastry to round pan
  27. Line until covered
  28. Pour content of kCook bowl into round pan
  29. Add bacon to the round pan
  30. Add egg and parmesan cheese to a clean jug
  31. Mix until combined
  32. Pour content of jug into round pan
  33. Bake - 40 min, 200°C
  34. Serve
