A basic recipe for bread sticks perfect served with dip at a party. You can add sesame or poppy seeds by sprinkling them on just before baking.

Step preview

  1. Attach Spiral Dough Tool
  2. Add plain flour, olive oil, dried yeast, water and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Mix - 2 min, Speed 1
  4. Mix - 8 min, Speed 2
  5. Cover with kitchen towel
  6. Prove - 30 min
  7. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  8. Grease a clean baking sheet
  9. Transfer the dough from the Kenwood mixer bowl to a lightly floured work surface
  10. Divide the dough into 25 equal pieces
  11. Roll each piece into 25 cm long bread sticks and place them on to the baking tray
  12. Spray with a little water
  13. Let rest - 10 min
  14. Bake - 15 min, 200°C
  15. Serve
