Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Line a clean cupcake pan
  3. Attach K Beater
  4. Add stout, unsalted butter, cocoa powder and caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix - 2 min, Speed 1
  6. Then add sour cream, egg and vanilla extract to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix - 1 min, Speed 2
  8. Then add plain flour and bicarbonate of soda to the Kenwood Bowl
  9. Mix - 1 min, Speed 2
  10. Spoon batter into cupcake pan evenly
  11. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  12. Let cool onto cooling rack
  13. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  14. Attach Whisk
  15. Add cream cheese, icing sugar and double cream to the Kenwood Bowl
  16. Mix - 1 min, Speed 5
  17. Spoon the icing on to the cakes
  18. Serve
