Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  3. Add honey and butter to a clean saucepan
  4. Heat until melted - medium heat
  5. Attach K Beater
  6. Add plain flour, ground almonds, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, ground cloves, ground nutmeg and black pepper to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Pour the honey mixture into the Kenwood Mixing bowl
  8. Mix - 1 min, Speed Min
  9. Transfer the dough into a medium bowl, cover and let cool
  10. Roll the dough into balls about 3 cm across
  11. Flatten each ball to make a dome shape and place on a baking tray
  12. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  13. Let cool on round wire rack
  14. Add icing sugar, egg white and water to a clean small bowl and mix
  15. Dip each of the biscuits into the icing and let dry
  16. Serve
