Step preview

  1. Flour a clean baking sheet
  2. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  3. Attach K Beater
  4. Add salt, butter, plain flour and baking powder to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix until coarse crumbs form - 2 min, Speed 1
  6. Then add caster sugar and milk to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix - 20 sec, Speed Max
  8. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to lightly floured surface
  9. Roll until 1" thick
  10. Cut out 5 cm rounds and place on floured baking sheet
  11. Brush with egg
  12. Bake - 18 min, 220°C
  13. Let cool on round wire rack
  14. Serve
