Step preview

  1. Flour a clean baking sheet
  2. Attach Spiral Dough Tool
  3. Add water, salt, sunflower seeds, bread flour, wholemeal flour and quick-rise yeast to the Kenwood Bowl
  4. Mix then scrape bowl - 3 min, Speed 1
  5. Mix - 6 min, Speed 2
  6. Cover with plastic wrap
  7. Prove - 1 hr
  8. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to lightly floured surface
  9. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces
  10. Roll each piece into a ball
  11. Brush with water
  12. Add sunflower seeds and poppy seeds to a clean small bowl and mix
  13. Dip dough balls into seeds
  14. Place dough balls on baking sheet
  15. Cover the dough balls with a tea towel
  16. Prove - 45 min
  17. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  18. Bake - 15 min, 220°C
  19. Let cool on round wire rack
  20. Serve
