Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 170°C
  2. Line a clean springform pan with parchment paper then set aside
  3. Add plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda to a clean large glass bowl
  4. Stir until combined then set aside
  5. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  6. Add milk and butter to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  9. Heat with filler cap fitted - 45°C, speed 3
  10. Then add dark chocolate and milk chocolate to the kCook bowl
  11. Stir with filler cap fitted - 4 min, 50°C, speed 3
  12. Transfer content of kCook bowl to jug then set aside
  13. Clean kCook bowl
  14. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  15. Add egg and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  16. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  17. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  18. Mix with filler cap fitted - 5 min, speed 7
  19. Pour chocolate mixture into kCook bowl
  20. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 5
  21. Transfer flour mixture to kCook bowl
  22. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 4
  23. Spoon content of kCook bowl into springform pan
  24. Bake until skewer tests clean - 50 min, 170°C
  25. Let cool
  26. Clean kCook bowl
  27. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  28. Add unsalted butter to the kCook bowl
  29. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  30. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  31. Heat with filler cap removed - 5 min, 45°C, speed 3
  32. Then add dark chocolate and milk chocolate to the kCook bowl
  33. Stir with filler cap removed - 10 min, 30°C, speed 3
  34. Transfer chocolate mixture to cake
  35. Pour slowly until covered
  36. Let cool
  37. Transfer cake to serving plate
  38. Serve
