Step preview

  1. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  2. Cut out into squares then set aside
  3. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add water, butter and bicarbonate of soda to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Heat with filler cap removed - 5 min, 70°C, speed 3
  8. Let cool
  9. Add plain flour to the kCook bowl
  10. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 5
  11. Then add egg to the kCook bowl
  12. Mix with filler cap removed - 30 sec, speed 6
  13. Add egg to the kCook bowl one by one while machine is running
  14. Mix with filler cap removed - 3 min, speed 6
  15. Spoon content of kCook bowl into piping bag then set aside
  16. Add sunflower oil to a clean large saucepan
  17. Heat and continue - medium-high heat
  18. Line a clean baking sheet with paper towels then set aside
  19. Pipe content of piping bag onto work surface
  20. Transfer dough to large saucepan carefully
  21. Fry each side until light golden
  22. Remove with slotted spoon
  23. Transfer dough balls to baking sheet and continue
  24. Clean kCook bowl
  25. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  26. Add milk, italian 00 flour, caster sugar and egg to the kCook bowl
  27. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  28. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  29. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 10
  30. Then add lemon to the kCook bowl
  31. Cook with filler cap removed - 7 min, 98°C, speed 5
  32. Spoon content of kCook bowl into piping bag
  33. Pipe cream onto dough balls
  34. Decorate with cherries
  35. Dust with icing sugar
  36. Serve
