I use multi-grain flour which is perfect for this recipe. This is a nice and easy recipe, and I keep my loaf of bread for a bit over one week, wrapped in a clean cloth. Give it a try! While baking, place in the oven a ramekin of warm water on the same shelf as the bread. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add water, salt, bread flour and active dried yeast to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - approx 15 sec, speed 7
  6. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 10
  7. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  8. Knead into a ball
  9. Transfer dough to loaf pan
  10. Cover with kitchen towel
  11. Prove - 40 min
  12. Pre-heat oven - 240°C
  13. Bake - 35 min, 240°C
  14. Let cool
  15. Serve
