This recipe is also excellent without bacon. It can also be done without goat cheese, which you can replace with grated Emmental. Tip: If your dough is a little too crumbly and you have trouble rolling it out with a roller, place it between two sheets of parchment paper. Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour, salt, olive oil and water to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 10
  8. Transfer content of kCook bowl to lightly floured surface
  9. Knead into a ball
  10. Roll out into a circle
  11. Transfer pastry to pie dish
  12. Line until covered and trim the edges
  13. Set aside and continue
  14. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  15. Clean kCook bowl
  16. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  17. Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
  18. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  19. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  20. Slice shallot into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  21. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  22. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  23. Cook with filler cap removed - 3 min, 120°C, speed 2
  24. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  25. Slice leek into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  26. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  27. Cook with filler cap removed - 4 min, 120°C, speed 2
  28. Then add white wine, salt & pepper and mustard to the kCook bowl
  29. Mix with filler cap removed - 30 sec, speed 5
  30. Then add egg, double cream, milk, all purpose flour and salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
  31. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 5
  32. Then add smoked bacon to the kCook bowl
  33. Mix with filler cap removed - 15 sec, speed 5
  34. Pour content of kCook bowl into pie dish
  35. Top with goat cheese
  36. Bake - 35 min, 180°C
  37. Serve
