Step preview

  1. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add salted butter, light brown sugar, egg and egg yolk to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 8
  6. Then add all purpose flour, baking powder and ground almonds to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 20 sec, speed 8
  8. Line a clean work surface with plastic wrap
  9. Transfer dough to work surface
  10. Form into a ball
  11. Wrap with plastic wrap
  12. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  13. Clean kCook bowl
  14. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  15. Add milk, double cream, sugar, fine semolina flour, egg and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl
  16. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  17. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  18. Cook with filler cap fitted - 14 min, 90°C, speed 8
  19. Then add rum to the kCook bowl
  20. Mix with filler cap fitted - 10 sec, speed 12
  21. Transfer mixture to heatproof bowl
  22. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool
  23. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  24. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  25. Divide into 2 equal pieces
  26. Roll out into a circle
  27. Transfer half of shaped dough to tart pan
  28. Line until covered
  29. Transfer mixture to tart pan
  30. Transfer the rest of shaped dough to tart pan
  31. Seal tightly and trim the edges
  32. Brush with egg
  33. Score
  34. Bake - 45 min, 180°C
  35. Serve
