Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Line a clean square pan with parchment paper then set aside
  3. Add chia seeds and water to a clean small bowl
  4. Soak - approx 5 min
  5. Attach the Creaming Beater
  6. Add non-dairy margarine, instant coffee, dairy-free chocolate chips, water and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, 60°C, Stir 1
  9. Then add caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Stir 1
  11. Transfer content of small bowl to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 sec, Stir 1
  13. Then add ground almonds, nuts, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, all purpose flour and baking powder to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  14. Mix with splashguard fitted then scrape bowl - 1 min, Stir 1
  15. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Stir 1
  16. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to square pan
  17. Spread until level
  18. Bake - 40 min, 160°C
  19. Let cool
  20. Cut into squares
  21. Serve
