  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Line a clean loaf pan with parchment paper
  3. Attach the Creaming Beater
  4. Add dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 60°C, Stir 1
  7. Transfer chocolate to small bowl
  8. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  9. Attach the Creaming Beater
  10. Add butter and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  11. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 4
  12. Scrape
  13. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed 4
  14. Add egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl while machine is running
  15. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed 1
  16. Mix with splashguard fitted - 20 sec, Speed 3
  17. Then add all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and ground almonds to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  18. Transfer chocolate to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  19. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed 2
  20. Transfer chocolate mixture to loaf pan
  21. Bake - 40 min, 160°C
  22. Let cool
  23. Turn out cake onto serving plate
  24. Dust with icing sugar
  25. Serve
