Step preview

  1. Attach the Dough Tool
  2. Add milk, dried yeast and unsalted butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 30°C, Stir 1
  5. Then add all purpose flour, salt, sugar and egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 min, Speed 1
  7. Remove the Dough Tool
  8. Prove with splashguard fitted - 1 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
  9. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  10. Divide into 12 equal pieces
  11. Roll the dough into balls
  12. Flatten the dough balls slightly
  13. Let rest - 15 min
  14. Line a clean plate with paper towels then set aside
  15. Add oil to a clean frying pan
  16. Heat in frying pan - 180°C
  17. Transfer dough balls to frying pan bit by bit
  18. Cook each side in frying pan until golden brown - approx 3 min
  19. Transfer dough balls to plate
  20. Dust with icing sugar
  21. Serve
