Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease a clean square pan
  3. Line with parchment paper then set aside
  4. Attach Creaming beater
  5. Add dark chocolate and unsalted butter to the EasyWarm Bowl
  6. Heat with splashguard fitted - 6 min, 7, Stir 1
  7. Remove the bowl from the machine and set aside
  8. Attach Whisk
  9. Add egg, caster sugar, vanilla extract and dark brown sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix - 3 min, Speed 5
  11. Attach K Beater
  12. Transfer content of EasyWarm Bowl to Kenwood Bowl
  13. Add coffee powder and water to a clean small bowl
  14. Mix until well combined
  15. Transfer content of small bowl to Kenwood Bowl
  16. Add cocoa powder, all purpose flour, baking powder, walnuts, milk chocolate chips and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  17. Mix - 25 sec, Speed 1
  18. Transfer chocolate mixture to square pan
  19. Spread until level
  20. Bake - 25 min, 180°C
  21. Remove from oven
  22. Let cool completely
  23. Cut into squares
  24. Serve
