Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  2. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  3. Add butter, caster sugar and dark brown sugar to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Mix with filler cap fitted - 5 min, speed 7
  7. Add egg, banana and natural yogurt to a clean medium bowl
  8. Mix until combined
  9. Transfer content of medium bowl to kCook bowl
  10. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 5
  11. Then add all purpose flour and baking powder to the kCook bowl
  12. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 4
  13. Then add pitted dates and mixed nuts to the kCook bowl
  14. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 4
  15. Transfer content of kCook bowl to loaf pan (900g)
  16. Bake - 1 hr, 170°C
  17. Clean kCook bowl
  18. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  19. Add light brown sugar to the kCook bowl
  20. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  21. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  22. Heat with filler cap removed - 6 min, 140°C, speed 1
  23. Then add butter and whipping cream to the kCook bowl
  24. Mix with filler cap fitted - 5 min, speed 5
  25. Transfer content of kCook bowl to heatproof bowl
  26. Clean kCook bowl
  27. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  28. Add caster sugar and water to the kCook bowl
  29. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  30. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  31. Stir with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 4
  32. Heat with filler cap removed - 6 min, 140°C
  33. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  34. Add mixed nuts to the baking tray
  35. Transfer content of kCook bowl to baking tray
  36. Spread evenly and let cool
  37. Break into pieces
  38. Turn out cake onto serving plate
  39. Drizzle cake with content of heatproof bowl
  40. Decorate with the broken pieces of praline
  41. Serve
