Step preview

  1. Line 2 clean baking tray with parchment paper then set aside
  2. Attach Dough Tool
  3. Add milk, quick-rise yeast, all purpose flour, caster sugar and salt to the EasyWarm Bowl
  4. Knead with splashguard fitted then scrape bowl - 2 min, Speed 1
  5. Add unsalted butter to the EasyWarm Bowl bit by bit while machine is running
  6. Knead with splashguard fitted - 8 min, Speed 2
  7. Remove Dough Tool
  8. Prove with splashguard fitted - 1 hr 30 min, 2
  9. Transfer content of EasyWarm Bowl to lightly floured surface
  10. Roll out into a rectangle
  11. Roll into a log
  12. Divide into 12 equal pieces
  13. Flatten the dough with your hand
  14. Fold the edges of each piece into the centre and turn over seam side down
  15. Using the palm of your hand, roll each piece into tight balls
  16. Roll out into a circle
  17. Fold one edge of the dough over itself and then roll into a log
  18. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  19. Cover with kitchen towel
  20. Prove - 30 min
  21. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  22. Remove the kitchen towel from the tray
  23. Brush with egg
  24. Using a pair of scissors, cut V-shapes at a 45° angle along the top of each roll
  25. Sprinkle with pearl sugar
  26. Bake - 15 min, 220°C
  27. Remove from oven
  28. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  29. Clean EasyWarm Bowl
  30. Attach Creaming beater
  31. Add chocolate to the EasyWarm Bowl
  32. Heat with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 2, Stir 1
  33. Drizzle rolls with chocolate
  34. Serve
