Step preview

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  4. Grease and line a clean rectangular pan with parchment paper
  5. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  6. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, mixed spice, ground ginger, baking soda and salt to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  8. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 4
  10. Then add egg, butter, orange and orange juice to the kCook bowl
  11. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 6
  12. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  13. Grate pumpkin into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  14. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  15. Add walnuts to the kCook bowl
  16. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 6
  17. Transfer batter to rectangular pan
  18. Bake - 30 min, 180°C
  19. Let cool
  20. Clean kCook bowl
  21. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  22. Add cream cheese, butter, icing sugar, orange and mixed spice to the kCook bowl
  23. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  24. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  25. Mix with filler cap fitted - 3 min, speed 5
  26. Transfer icing to medium bowl
  27. Chill in fridge - 10 min
  28. Transfer icing to cake
  29. Spread evenly
  30. Serve
