Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean loaf pan with parchment paper
  2. Attach the Dough Tool
  3. Add fresh yeast, dried yeast, brown sugar and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Heat with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 30°C, Speed OFF
  6. Then add bread flour, oat flour, malted milk powder, salt and mixed seeds to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 min, Speed 1
  8. Remove the dough from the Cooking Chef bowl
  9. Lightly grease the Cooking Chef bowl
  10. Return the dough to the Cooking Chef bowl
  11. Remove the Dough Tool
  12. Prove with splashguard fitted - 1 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
  13. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  14. Shape dough into a loaf
  15. Transfer shaped dough to loaf pan (450g)
  16. Cover with kitchen towel
  17. Prove - 1 hr
  18. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  19. Remove the kitchen towel from the loaf tin
  20. Brush with egg yolk
  21. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  22. Bake - 30 min, 190°C
  23. Remove from oven and let cool
  24. Turn out onto cooling rack
  25. Serve
