A fresh, healthy option for a light lunch. This recipe uses the steamer attachment to cook the pasta and greens from the steam created by the broth as it cooks in the bowl. We used spinach and ricotta tortellini, try using tortellini with other fillings as a variation.

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Add chicken stock to the kCook bowl up to the 1 liter mark
  6. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  7. Slice shallot into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  9. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  10. Heat with filler cap removed - 98°C, speed 2
  11. Then add chicken breast, salt & pepper and pesto to the kCook bowl
  12. Cook with filler cap removed - 2 min, 98°C, speed 2
  13. Add tortellini to the steamer tray
  14. Steam - 8 min, 110°C, speed 2
  15. Then add baby spinach and peas to the steamer tray
  16. Steam - 3 min, 110°C, speed 2
  17. Serve
  18. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and parmesan cheese
