Step preview

  1. Attach Dough Hook
  2. Add all purpose flour, butter, salt and water to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Knead until combined - Speed 2
  4. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  5. Shape into a ball
  6. Roll into a rectangle
  7. Fold one third into the centre
  8. Fold the other third over the first
  9. Repeat the rolling and folding another 4 times
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap
  11. Chill in fridge and continue
  12. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  13. Grease a clean muffin pan
  14. Add caster sugar to the muffin pan
  15. Coat until covered then set aside
  16. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  17. Attach K Beater
  18. Add butter, cane sugar, ground cinnamon and maple syrup to the Kenwood Bowl
  19. Mix until well combined - Speed 3
  20. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  21. Remove plastic wrap
  22. Roll out into a rectangle
  23. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to dough
  24. Spread evenly
  25. Roll into a log
  26. Cut into 6 equal pieces
  27. Cut in half along the length of each log
  28. Twist each length around each other
  29. Roll into a circle
  30. Repeat with the rest
  31. Transfer shaped dough to muffin pan
  32. Sprinkle with icing sugar
  33. Bake - 30 min, 180°C
  34. Place onto cooling rack
  35. Serve
