These chocolate cookies are easy to make but very indulgent, filled with dark chocolate chunks, flakes of almond and sprinkle of sea salt to finish.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Sift all purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking soda into a clean bowl
  3. Grease and line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  4. Attach the Creaming Beater
  5. Add coconut oil, almond butter, golden syrup and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  7. Heat with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, 30°C, Speed 1
  8. Transfer content of bowl to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  9. Add caster sugar, light brown sugar, salt, flaked almonds and dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  11. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  12. Divide into 10 equal pieces and roll into a ball shape
  13. Place dough balls on baking tray
  14. Flatten slightly
  15. Sprinkle with sea salt lightly
  16. Bake until firm and let cool - 8 min, 180°C
  17. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  18. Serve
