Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach the Dough Tool
  3. Add dried yeast, milk and sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Heat with splashguard fitted until dissolved - 5 min, 30°C, Speed OFF
  6. Then add bread flour, egg, salt and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  8. Add butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl gradually while machine is running
  9. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined then scrape bowl - 5 min, Speed 1
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until mixture comes together - 5 min, Speed 1
  11. Remove the dough from the Cooking Chef bowl
  12. Lightly grease the Cooking Chef bowl
  13. Return the dough to the Cooking Chef bowl
  14. Remove the Dough Tool
  15. Prove with splashguard fitted - 2 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
  16. Attach the Dough Tool
  17. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 1
  18. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  19. Divide into 12 equal pieces then set aside - 5 min
  20. Roll into balls
  21. Transfer dough balls to baking tray
  22. Cover with kitchen towel until doubled - 1 hr
  23. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  24. Brush with egg
  25. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  26. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 180°C
  27. Transfer on round wire rack and let cool
  28. Serve
