This recipe looks sweet but it is completely savoury. In this recipe we have used salted biscuits for the base but you can use any savoury biscuit you prefer. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Attach Creaming beater
  3. Add biscuits and butter to the kMix Bowl
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - Speed 2
  5. Transfer content of kMix Bowl to springform pan
  6. Spread until level and press down
  7. Set aside and continue
  8. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  9. Add red bell pepper to the baking tray
  10. Bake - 45 min, 180°C
  11. Remove from oven
  12. Transfer peppers to large resealable plastic bag carefully
  13. Seal together and let cool
  14. Transfer peppers to cutting board
  15. Remove the skins and cut into 1cm cubes
  16. Transfer peppers to saucepan
  17. Add sugar to the saucepan
  18. Cook while stirring occasionally - 10 min, medium-low heat
  19. Set aside and let cool
  20. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  21. Attach Whisk
  22. Add mascarpone cheese and soft goat cheese to the kMix Bowl
  23. Whisk with splashguard fitted - Speed 3
  24. Pour whipping cream into the kMix Bowl while machine is running
  25. Whisk with splashguard fitted - Speed Max
  26. Then add olive oil and salt & pepper to the kMix Bowl
  27. Whisk with splashguard fitted until thickened - approx 20 sec, Speed 2
  28. Transfer content of kMix Bowl to springform pan
  29. Spread until level
  30. Pour content of saucepan into springform pan
  31. Serve
