Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean loaf pan (900g) with parchment paper
  2. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  3. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add butter and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap removed then scrape bowl - 2 min, speed 8
  8. Add egg to the kCook bowl while machine is running
  9. Mix with filler cap removed - 3 min, speed 8
  10. Then add all purpose flour, baking powder and lemon to the kCook bowl
  11. Mix with filler cap removed - 2 min, speed 8
  12. Transfer batter to loaf pan (900g)
  13. Bake - 45 min, 180°C
  14. Let cool slightly
  15. Add lemon and caster sugar to a clean small bowl
  16. Mix until dissolved
  17. Prick the warm cake with a fork all over
  18. Drizzle cake with icing
  19. Let cool completely
  20. Serve
