Step preview

  2. Add fresh yeast, caster sugar, water and milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl

  5. Then add bread flour, salt, golden syrup and butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Knead with splashguard fitted - 3 min, Speed Min
  7. Knead with splashguard fitted - 6 min, Speed 1
  8. Remove the Dough Tool
  9. Prove with splashguard fitted - 15 min, 34°C, Speed OFF
  10. Transfer dough to work surface
  11. Divide into balls
  12. Cover with kitchen towel
  13. Let rest - 20 min
  14. Shape into sticks, plaits, or rolls as you wish
  15. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  16. Decorate with poppy seeds
  17. Let rest - 35 min
  18. Pre-heat oven - 210°C
  19. Bake - 20 min, 210°C
  20. Remove from oven and let cool
  21. Serve
