Step preview

  1. Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
  2. Fit the Fine (2mm) grating disc, attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
  3. Grate cabbage into the Food processor attachment
  4. Transfer content of Food processor attachment to large mixing bowl
  5. Fit the knife blade to the Food Processor bowl
  6. Add shiitake mushrooms to the Food processor attachment
  7. Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
  8. Pulse until fine
  9. Transfer content of Food processor attachment to large mixing bowl
  10. Add garlic clove, ginger, fresh chives, red chili, sesame oil, miso paste and soy sauce to the large mixing bowl
  11. Mix with tablespoon until well combined
  12. Flour a clean plate lightly then set aside
  13. Add dumpling wrapper to a clean cutting board
  14. Place 1 tsp of the mushroom mixture in the middle of a dumpling wrapper
  15. Moisten the edges of the dough with water and pinch the end
  16. Pleat the top of the pastry to seal
  17. Transfer dumplings to plate
  18. Repeat with the rest
  19. Add vegetable oil and sesame oil to a clean frying pan
  20. Heat until hot - medium-high heat
  21. Fry the gyoza in the pan in batches until they are golden on the base
  22. Add water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  23. Transfer some of the dumplings to Steaming basket
  24. Attach the steaming basket
  25. Steam - 10 min, 100°C, Speed OFF
  26. Repeat with the rest
  27. Serve
