It is summer and my garden produces masses of courgettes again. Since I had to come up with new preparation ideas for these beautiful vegetables, I created this recipe. To make an optical impression, decorate the casserole with fresh nasturtium flowers before serving. But now, let's get started... User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Heat with splashguard fitted - 110°C, Stir 2
  5. Then add onion and garlic clove to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Cook with splashguard fitted until browned - 5 min, 180°C, Stir 2
  7. Then add ground beef to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Cook with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 180°C, Stir 2
  9. Then add zucchini to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Cook - 4 min, 150°C, Stir 2
  11. Then add tomato, mushrooms, salt & pepper and vegetable stock powder to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Cook and continue - 15 min, 120°C, Stir 2
  13. Add water and salt to a clean large saucepan
  14. Heat until boiling - medium-high heat
  15. Add pasta to the large saucepan
  16. Cook - approx 8 min, medium-high heat
  17. Drain pasta into colander
  18. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  19. Transfer pasta to casserole dish
  20. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to casserole dish
  21. Top with gouda cheese
  22. Bake until browned - 10 min, 200°C
  23. Remove from oven
  24. Serve
  25. Garnish with edible flowers
