Absolutely delicious and not too sweet banana bread. Moist and fluffy on the inside and crusty on the outside. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  2. Grease a clean loaf pan then set aside
  3. Attach the K-Beater
  4. Add banana, caster sugar, milk, egg, vanilla extract, baking powder, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon, salt and low fat spread to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 1 min, Speed 2
  7. Then add chocolate chips to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Min
  9. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to loaf pan
  10. Spread until level
  11. Bake - 35 min, 175°C
  12. Bake until skewer tests clean - 15 min, 175°C
  13. Remove from oven and let cool - 5 min
  14. Transfer cake to cooling rack and let cool
  15. Serve
