Borscht is a traditional East Slavic dish prepared with beets, which gives it its characteristic rich colour. Unlike regular soups, it is thick. Borscht is considered the national Ukrainian first course, although it has a place in the culinary fund of Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Moldova.   18. Then add tomato paste and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  19. Cook with splashguard fitted until boiling - 5 min, 105°C, Stir 1
  20. Add the prepared potatoes and cabbage into the Cooking Chef bowl
  21. Add bay leaves to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  22. Cook with splashguard fitted - 8 min, 105°C, Stir 1
  23. Then season with salt & pepper and lemon
  24. Serve
  25. Garnish with dill
