Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and line a clean loaf pan (900g) with parchment paper
  3. Attach Whisk
  4. Add brown sugar and unsalted butter to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 2 min, Speed 4
  6. Add egg and milk to a clean jug
  7. Mix until combined
  8. Transfer content of jug to Kenwood Bowl while machine is running
  9. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  10. Attach K Beater
  11. Add lavender honey to the Kenwood Bowl
  12. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 2
  13. Then add salt, baking powder, all purpose flour, mixed spice and bran flour to the Kenwood Bowl
  14. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  15. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to loaf pan (900g)
  16. Bake - 45 min, 180°C
  17. Let cool
  18. Serve
