Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach Creaming beater
  3. Add butter, granulated sugar and light brown sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 2
  5. Add egg and vanilla extract to the Kenwood Bowl gradually while machine is running
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed 1
  7. Then add all purpose flour, baking powder, cornstarch, ground cinnamon, allspice and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Min
  9. Then add chocolate chips, cranberries, almonds and orange zest to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Min
  11. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  12. Roll into a log
  13. Wrap with plastic wrap
  14. Refrigerate in fridge - 30 min
  15. Pre-heat oven - 175°C
  16. Retrieve the dough from the fridge
  17. Slice until 2cm thick
  18. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray evenly
  19. Bake until golden brown - 9 min, 175°C
  20. Remove from oven
  21. Transfer cookies to cooling rack and let cool
  22. Serve
